ShowCASe #320 - Washi Tape

Hi there LIMettes it's time for our weekly ShowCASe post.

It's never an easy job to select our favourites but we do love seeing
all your stunning takes on the challenge in our gallery each week.

So here goes with our choices, in order of entry for

#13 Ann

Here Ann has used her washi tape in such an ingenious way by creating
her own buttons to embellish her cards. With the added dimension to the
white on white petals this card simply jumped from our gallery.
A perfect and elegant example of clean and simple.

#30 Birgit

Another funky and inspirational use of washi tape by Birgit who
has created this fun and slightly odd looking owl which made us love
him even more. Brilliant design and certainly gave us a giggle!

#55 Hannelie

Adding strips of vibrant washi tape to the background of the framed
little scene takes this to another level. Eye-catching fresh and still
super clean and simple with minimal die-cut elements in the foreground.

Congratulations ladies and please help yourself to a ShowCASe badge
from the page at the top of the blog with our thanks.
We hope you'll display it proudly on your individual blogs.

We're sure you'll agree these are a wonderful trio and worthy of
our ShowCASe badge this week.
Do pop along and congratulate them on their win.

We'll also be showCASing their cards on our Facebook page

so why not hop on over and give us a 'thumbs up'!
Here's the link you need to take you there.

As always there's still time to enter our current challenge

ShowCASe #317 - Sketch

Hi there LIMettes it's time for our weekly ShowCASe post.

There were some really super entries into our sketch challenge and it was fantastic to see how you all  interpreted it. It's never an easy job to select our favourites but we do love seeing
all your stunning takes on the challenge in our gallery each week.

So here goes with our choices, in order of entry for

Claudia

The layering in this design is wonderful and brings a completely new feel to the sketch. The elegant dies, paisley stamping and classy purple colour scheme give the card masses of impact.

Rosi

This fun and cheerful card flips our sketch and features a cute critter with beautifully shaded balloons - enough to make anyone smile! The circle of stars frame the critter and create a super focal point.

Mac Mable

A clever and inventive design that uses several stamps to create a very convincing look of patterned paper on the panel. The two-tone sentiment finishes this clean and neutral card to perfection.

Congratulations ladies and please help yourself to a ShowCASe badge
from the page at the top of the blog with our thanks.
We hope you'll display it proudly on your individual blogs.

Prize Winners - 6th Birthday Challenges

Hello there LIMettes ... are you ready for some winners!

After all the fun and excitement throughout last month with our
6th birthday celebrations the Design Team have now had chance to review
all the entries, scratch our heads, chat some more and come up with the
hugely difficult task of selecting just 4 winners.

You really are a brilliant and CAS-fabulous bunch of creative crafters
and we love seeing all your unique takes on our challenges each week so
a HUGE thank you to each of you for playing along with us!

We'd also like to thank our FANTASTIC and super GENEROUS sponsors
because without them we'd be a little stuck for prizes!

So let's get to it ....

Week 1

Sponsor
Picture
(Happy Little Stampers)

Winner - Nonni

A beautiful watery use of the colour wheel colours gives this card by Nonni a loose and
wonderfully arty look. That has been contrasted with the crisp and clean sentiments.
Loving the bling from the glitter die cut too.

Week 2

Sponsor

(Seven Hills Crafts)

Winner - Dawn

This card just makes me smile.  It is so fun and a terrific design for the opposites attract
challenge.  Dawn's colouring is perfect and clearly her sense of humour is fantastic!

Week 3

Sponsor

(STAMPlorations)

Winner - Wendy
Less is More Challenge 'Alphabet' and CASology challenge 'Romance'
Wendy's card just stood out in the gallery of our Alphabet challenge.  Using the large 'A'
adorned with ditsy flowers as part of the sentiment was a fabulous idea, and the
stitched grey panel added a really stylish touch to the overall design.

Week 4

Sponsor
Uniko
(Uniko)

Winner - TaeEun

The curved lines and brilliant focal point colouring of these lilies gives this card a warm impact.
The narrow white-on-black sentiment mirrors the longer yellow lines behind the focal
point and grounds the imagery. A beautiful take on our sketch.

Congratulations to all of our birthday winners and we'd like to offer each of you the
opportunity to Guest Design for one of our future challenges. Please contact Sarah,
by email at LIM2011@gmx.com for details of how to claim your prize and
please indicate whether you would like the opportunity to be a Guest Designer too.

Please take a Prize Winner badge from the page at the top of the blog!
We hope you'll display it with pride on your blog
with our congratulations and thanks.

We'll also be showCASing our winners on our Facebook page HERE
so why not hop on over and give us a 'thumbs up'!

There's still plenty of time to enter our current challenge which ends at
10pm (GMT) on Friday, 10th March 2017
